We had no experience with closet organization and had reservations at first (cost, mess, timeline).
A few words to describe Marco? Innovative, responsive, professional, clean and affordable.
From tie racks to drawers and hanging racks, they wanted to make sure our closet was exactly right. The shelving and hanging systems are brilliant and can be easily adjusted and switched out.
Mike came to measure and design. A month later all the pieces were installed and we were ready to go. Two hours is all it took. Even though we hired them for a smaller closet, their attention to detail was impressive. They made us feel as if we hired them to work on a much larger project.
Marco made it easy from consultation to completion.

I can tend to be a little picky and a bit of a control freak (says my husband), but I was beyond happy with my Marco Closet experience, Stacey, and the contractors who installed my customized closet. My only disappointment is that I didn’t call her sooner. I was under the false impression that customizing a closet was going to come along with a big price tag, but I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable cost and the great quality of the product. We had an excellent experience with this company throughout the closet re-design / installation process. The re-design utilized every single inch of our available closet space and increased our hanging space by 50% — and yet the lay-out makes it feel roomier to us when we are standing in the closet. We now have enclosed storage for out-of-season clothing near the ceiling, more accessible shelving for folded clothing, and a shoe rack we didn’t have before. Worth every penny!

Sometimes the most perfect window covering solution is shutters. As an Interior Designer, I love how versatile they can be from filtering the light to complete closure. For certain windows, shutters are the only choice.

My experience with Marco Closet was top notch. Everything from the first meeting to the install went smoothly. Look no further! Marco Closets is the most professional company to have in your home. Our Designer, Stacey, was always on time, responsive and had fantastic ideas on how to maximize my space and give me a beautiful walk in closet. When it came time to install, the installer was on time, took good care of my walls and new carpets and installed my closet to perfection. I love everything about the closet and can’t thank Marco enough for their great service and value. I would definitely recommend them for any closet or storage need. They worked within my budget and I couldn’t be happier!

I hired Mike Herman and Marco Closets and Storage to repurpose several closets in our home this spring. Four were on our main floor and two were upstairs in my bedroom suite. Mike came and measured for the job himself, making sure to discuss with me what each closet was going to be used for. The downstairs closets were installed first since the bedroom remodel had not been completed. Three of the closets were the same, shelves on one side and a large double hanging area on the other. In my daughter’s bathroom closet which had been a traditional walkin with two rods of hanging before, now was turned into a combination of shelves, baskets and double rod hanging to maximize the space and minimize the waste. She was very happy with the outcome. Upstairs I had one closet that was very deep. We put in a large rolling shelf along with several standard shelves to add storage space for towels and linens. But the real feat was what I consider my master closet which essentially had 13 areas of wall space to fill. It is shaped like an L and now has 2 spaces for longer hanging items, 2 areas with double hanging rods for shorter items like pants and shirts. We put in 4 hampers instead of the 2 we originally talked about on one wall and on the other half we added a wall of drawers (10) with 6 shelves on top perfect for those items you’re not sure where to put. On the back wall it was all shelves (7) with a cut out for the electrical box, divided into thirds. On the last wall there was 9 shelves that were divided in half which I put 3 pairs of shoes on, 6 per shelf. The bottom part of the L is a door that can be used to reach the furnace. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. They moved a rod and shelf that were set too low and moved a valet rod (one that slides in and out) to a more accessible place. I felt that Mike really listen to what I said to make the closet as functional as possible. He emailed computer images that provided several angles so I could visualize the area more accurately and add accessories to best suit my needs. I would definitely hire Mike and his installers again when another opportunity presents itself. They are both knowledgeable and professional.

We had a great experience with Marco Closets! They shared options for our closet, gave us a thorough estimate and what to expect, and installed right when they said they would. The install went very quickly, maybe 2 hours for the whole closet. We couldn’t be happier with the service and the quality, especially of the drawers and how they glide. The installer was great to work with too!

We have used Mike Herman and Marco Shutters several times in the past so when it came time to have our storage/spare closet done with shelving in our recently finished lower level there was no question as to who we would have do the job.
