Make more room under your bed for storage by using bed risers, so lowrise storage bins can slide under the bed. Find them at bed and bath stores, a discount store, or almost anywhere.
Closet Tips
Need more room for clothes in your closet? Identify items you don’t wear very often or can’t remember the last time you wore it by hanging the item on the closet rod with the hanger backwards. If it is still backwards by the end of the current clothes season, remove it for donation or for a garage sale.
Donate
Keep a box or bag near or in your closet for items to put in your next garage sale or for donation if it doesn’t fit anymore or you are ready to get rid of it.
